That being said. Here's my list of tracks from both the albums that would make a solid release. IMHO of course :wink:

1) Fuel
2) Until It Sleeps
3) Mama Said(Yes i like that one)
4) Prince Charming
5) Low Man's Lyric
6) Bleeding Me
7) Where The Wild Things Are
8) Thorn Within
9) Prince Charming
10) Fixxxer

You know you listed Prince Charming twice.

Anyway, I definitely agree with your list except that I would also add in The Outlaw Torn and replaced Low Man's Lyric with something like King Nothing or House That Jack Built (one of Met's most underrated songs IMO).

I'd add Until It Sleeps and Hero of the Day which were two very fine modern hard rock singles !

Well for me I suppose somewhere in between, although this is still the only metallica album I've never actually owned at some point. But... there's a few really great songs on it, which for me is enough for a hit even if it comes with a lot of filler. Because thinking about it, a lot of albums I would unquestioningly give a hit to don't contain anything as good as Until It Sleeps...

By the way, I actually have the original demos for King Nothing, Fixxxer and Hero Of The Day (recorded in November/December, 1994). I actually kind of prefer the solos in the King Nothing/Hero demos over the solos in the final songs (particularly the bluesy solo in the KN demo). If anybody wants them, feel free to send me a PM.

maybe so but he was also responsible for Angra's Fireworks which sounded very good (not to mention his classic 80's production, this guy has quite a lot to put up an impressive resumé) 8)

Tsangrides is spotty at best. When he's on he's one of the best. When he's off it sounds like he has cotton in his ears, and is two rooms away. He produced Black Sabbath's "Eternal Idol" and the demos have more crunch to them. Weak.
