Getting a new car in two weeks, which means probably less money for cds and shirts and more saved up for shows kinda a weird trade off but I can live with it. I'm still wondering if I can swing rent, car payment, loan payment, and still make it to MDF this year though.

Irritated. One of my coworkers hobbled off from work swaying like a Hun on giro day a good hour before closing time, having had a few too many sneaky drinks behind the bar. This naturally pissed off the manager to no end when she heard about it, so I highly doubt I'll be working with her again. Only problem is, she was supposed to be on tomorrow night, and since I'm the only staff with a day off tomorrow, guess who'll probably be called in to cover for it on his fucking day off.

Since I very much appreciate the brothers in blood's input here, this is an update on what's going on in as much detail as possible:

So at school I bought her her favourite chocolate. Then we headed to the park for a good hike which lasted about an hour and a half or so. In the park we talked about she finding a new place and I think I did help her make a decision in where she should move and why she should be doing it. After a long walk I suggested we sit somewhere and have the chocolate.

Yep, it was time to share some of my true emotions with her. And I did. I told her how I immensely enjoy her company and that I had not met anyone so genuine and kind for the longest time. I told her I would love to know her more and see where this goes. She replied very positively and thought it was a great idea.

Then I asked about how her catholic faith and it has influenced her life. She was explaining herself very thoroughly and had a lot to say which made me very happy, that she, in fact wanted to share a lot of things.
Although I had heard much more from her life on the dinner date. In any case, we shared some laughs because she was so cool when I had shred my feelings and she did tell me that she wasn't expecting it. Again we had moments of silence enjoying the scenery but it wasn't awkward or did not have any discomfort in it. So here's where it get interesting.

So, I got very thrilled and straight-forwardly told her if she liked to become my girlfriend. She said not at the moment as she wants to know me better first. Then, we talked about how why a relationship does or doesn't work. Why marriages last and why they don't. We have also spoken about when we wanted to have children and what not. I also asked her if she thinks our friendship has great potential for a great relationship and she also responded very positively which made very happy, obviously.

She also told me when she gets married she never wants a divorce and wants to with stay with him for their entire lifetime.

And I also told her that I kind of rushed in to it and I also thought it was a good idea to know her better before committing to her. Then I bought her a cab ride to her work and I went home from there.

EDIT: It is definitely worth a mention that she touched my arms quite a few times and in one instance I caressed her neck while sitting on the bench.

Well, caresses are good. That comment quoted above makes me think the idea of taking it slow sounds great though. You really want a clear read on this one.

i think its great. i hope you didnt jump the gun in telling her everything. it sounds like all is well though. some girls may be liking you and everything is going fine but if you tell them too much too soon it scares them away. i was worried that maybe this would happen to you. it sounds like she took it well and i hope she did. i know you like her alot if your not already really falling for her and i dont want you to get hurt. ive made this mistake before. but like i said before she seems to have taken it well so you should be good. just dont smother her.

btw it takes balls to openly tell someone how you feel. much respect to you for that.

btw #2-i think you would know if something is off. i can usually tell if things are going good with a girl or not and by what you said about the way she was after you told her i think all is going great.

I agree with your analysis. First, giving the girl room to breathe and think about things said. Second, not telling her everything at once. I do choose my words carefully and also I was very careful not to tell her something like: Oh, I'm crazy about you" or something. Which I am but there's no way I'm going to tell her that now! I think my intuition tells me a lot. I knew I wanted this girl from the first instance she came and sat down at my table. And as time goes by I can realize it bit by bit about this very case. It's a big matter for her to feel the same way or draw the same conclusions.

@Emperor: Yeah, dude. Totally. That's says a lot about her. She just seems like someone that will be loyal to you eternally. BUT, will take her sweet time to realize that, eventually.

I am strongly determined to do that. But at some point she has to return some of the frequencies, too. Otherwise it would be completely and utterly pointless.
