...they've switched from black metal to modern death metal, following the path of Nile, Hate Eternal and other addicts to double bass drum debauchery.
And how are Nile and Hate Eternal currently 'Modern Death Metal'? And wtf is Modern Death Metal anyways?
i don't know exactly what ''modern death metal'' is, but i know what it's not: albums like Pestilence's Consuming Impulse, Obituary's Slowly We Rot, Suffocation's Effigy of the Forgotten, Deicide's self titled, Morgoth's Cursed, Morbid Angel's Blessed are the Sick, Gorefest's Mindloss, Death's Scream Bloody Gore, Possessed's 7 Churches and so on...stuff that has definitely nothing to do with the likes of Behemoth, Hate eternal or Nile.
What year did Nile form? Who did Karl Sanders' previous band play live with? Eric Rutan, of Hate Eternal, used to be in Morbid Angel, Doug Cerrito, of Suffocation, played on HE's first album... I mean, check your facts, at the least. You're just spouting shit. Yes, some classic Death Metal albums are not 'modern'. What a fucking genius observation!
Exactly. The only real thing to be construed as fact would be that old/classic stuff is old, which leaves everything under the sun as "modern".Nile have never sold out, they have their fans, due to their uniqueness, but they haven't sold out.I have also never heard anybody talk about HE outside of a forum, that's how obscure they are.And they have ALWAYS been known for their relentless doublebass, its Hate Eternal, its what they do.You don't like double bass?Maybe you might want to lay off the rock and metal. It doesn't sound like you are a fan of extreme styles.
I like Behemoth, much moreso with their current death leanings.Zos Kia Cultus and Demigod are phenomenal. So they want to earn some money,at least they are genuinly working for it.I look forward to Evangelion(I'll always think of the anime when I hear or see this).Selling out would be Cryptopsy, and I still like both them and TUS.
