I'd of loved to see Saxon out play Maiden back in '83.
I'd of loved to see Maiden or Priest in their prime years. Oh well...
Here comes my youthfullness...
NP: Hexen -- Past Life
Hexen kick ass...

Tygers of Pan Tang - Spellbound
Yes they sure do. So do Tygers on Pan Tang. Another band I got my narrow minded buddy into last night! That makes me even more awesome than before! God I am too good to be true.
NP: Black Sabbath -- Megalomania
You've been on a Sabbath binge lately, I see...
The best band ever? I daresay, yes... certainly, they were pioneers.
They are definitely one of my favourites. Almost everything they did was awesome. The late Ozzy stuff wasn't so nice, but some of it was still enjoyable. I've never heard a full album with Tony Martin yet though. But I have heard Born Again, so that may make up for it.
NP: Gammacide -- Endangered Species
more people need to know these guys...
Never Say Die was their down turn...
never heard Gammacide.
Does that mean you don't like Dio Sabbath?
ANd you should check out Gammacide. Thrash obviously, come on now look who you are talking to.
NP: Virus -- Force Recon
No, Heaven and Hell owns... but it is different, and strange, though quite good... Mob Rules has it's moments (Voodoo, Sign Of The Southern Cross) but still... not the classic line-up that produced A National Acrobat, Into the Void and the rest.
re: Gammacide, I'll check 'em out.
What are your thoughts on Born Again and Seventh Star? Born Again I like, just took a few listens to really dig it. Seventh Star has like 2 good songs IMO. The opening track, In For the Kill, and the long bluesy song, Heart Like A Wheel.
Anyway...
