Crossing my fingers for the new Strato and In Flames.
Seen the album cover for the new In Flames sketch? Abandon all hope...

It's cool. It's like something from The Wall.
Except the Wall didn't have gay rainbow colors all over the place...
It looks like a Korn album cover.
The guy looks like he is from the children's book "where the wild things are" Over all not a bad piece of art but as an in flames cover, Yuck
Not intending to break up this chain of hatred that's going on, but I have to admit I actually like this. The problem with Come Clarity's artwork was that it was too simplistic, with just one facet to concentrate on...here, there's a lot to analyze and interpret. Then again, we can never judge music from the cover of an album anyway...were that the case, nobody would bother listening to stuff like, I dunno, Number of the Beast (because, let's face it, some of the Iron Maiden artwork is a bit silly).
With that in mind, I have both high hopes and high expectations for A Sense of Purpose. I listened to the brief snippets of music that could be heard in the band's studio diaries, and it sounded very fast, visceral, and (of course) melodic. In Flames has always been my favorite metal band, so I would be buying this on Day One regardless of pre-release hype (one of the few bands where I would pull that risk), but I really don't think I'm going to be disappointed.
On an unrelated and less controversial note, new Scar Symmetry =
