Loved their debut a surprising lot. Arguably generic as all hell, not to mention repetitive, but has tons and tons of energy and passionate playing to it. It's basically Helloween's Eagle Fly Free and I'm Alive eight times over, which is certainly not a bad thing in my book. It actually ended up being one of my most played albums of 2006.

As for the new song: it sounds pretty much in the same vein as Enter Deception, except for the vocals, which seem to have undergone a complete change. Much lower, deeper and just plain better than before, and it doesn't even sound like the same guy behind the mic. I assumed they'd gotten a new vocalist, but apparently they haven't. I don't really prefer low vocals to high ones or the other way around, but the delivery here just seems much more natural and less forced than before. Looking forward to the next album!

Ah, must've missed those. What's your take on their new stuff?

I liked their debut, glad to see some new material being made. That clip is pretty sweet, +1 about the vocals being better.

I'll be honest, none of the demos they've put up over the past year or so have impressed me much. I know they're demos, so I'm not making any sort of judgement on the upcoming album, but these demos have fallen flat for me.

Funny, this new clip sounds totally in line with the debut album to me, both in style and quality. Can we at least agree that the vocals sound much better?

Vocals are less high-pitched and in fact do sound better to me. I'd be happy with the finished product to have this sound qualiity, but as I've been bitching to NESS about recently, no doubt it will be given the full Enter Deception treatment - artificial sounding drums, all the fast parts at the exact same bpm and a wall of a billion rhythm guitars backing it all. I prefer the sound of their demo to the full-length.

I guess I don't ask to much about the band when I'm around them. I'm still pretty pumped up about this release though. I'm guessing the new one will be better (quality) b/c it won't be as rushed.

I thought the vocals on it sounded flat and lifeless. I just figured they were demo vocals, which aren't always the greatest.
