 Post subject: Thrash riff.

drums are messed up in parts because i suck ass but tell me what you think of the riff, mainly.

we made it in 15 minutes.

Hahaha. Of course not. Well, that snare sound is a clear ode to the coffee can. =) The riff is cool, but basic. I would clean it up, use it as an intro and mid-section riff, then some mid- to fast-paced shit for the verses, then add some groovy parts for the chorus. :dio:

Yeah man, my damn snare rings to much, but I hate muffling drums except the kick. Yeah, we're probably gonna finish the song tommorow, we'll see what happens!


The guitarist is really good though, can play foul body autopsy by necrophagist (well a lot of there stuff). Good at sweeping!

Hmmm for a thrash riff it's pretty solid. Your double kicking goes out of time in a couple spots tho there :D

Pretty7 good, but none of it really made me go "fuck yeah!" and the guitar sound was too trebly. I'm not saying I'm any better but y'know...

I like the mini-breakdowns, but I think your basic riff needs more complexity.
