But seriously, you've really got to respect Dragonforce. Not many bands would keep on rocking when they're getting brutally attacked by Protoss Carriers.

I see Dragonforce live in 24 days!

Starcraft rules! Long Live the Protoss Fleet!!

i love those giant carriers with like 20 little buggy things with lasers. make 10 carriers, then send 'em to attack... the minimap is blurred.

It's funny, as I've mentioned before, I don't own any Dragonforce. In fact, I've only heard two songs, the video in this thread and the last video. Now, I actually totally love this shit, but I'm almost embarassed to buy the albums because of all the Hot Topic, emo turd nonsense now associated with this band.

Since when did you care about music being popular???!!!!

I said almost.

I dunno, I like to see a non-nu metal band have some success...

Oh, I'd love to see this band have success! The fact that labels are courting this sort of band for the US market is what bothers me. You know they're doing it for the wrong reasons.

Just buy it! It's about the music! If you like it, just buy it!

Besides, what else do you expect their label to do when they managed to top the heatseeker chart?

Well, I buy everything that I like, so I'll definitely buy it eventually.

In all seriousness though, I avoided DragonForce for the longest time due mostly to the cheesiness of their name, and when I finally gave in to buying Inhuman Rampage, I realized the lyrics were even cheesier, but the songs are just too catchy. The insane solos are addicting too. The unrelenting speed sometimes gets overwhelming, but taken in the right dosage, it's just hard not to enjoy it. :dio:

I definetly consider myself a big Dragonforce fan and was really into the bands first two records (loving every single song), but i'm starting to lose interest in the band. While i'm still trying to get see them live if possible, I've only heard two songs of the Inhuman Rampage (got lazy of waiting after they delayed the US release), which are Through Fire and Flames & Operation Ground and Pound. The former i started liking after repeated listens, yet the second one i find to be very unmemorable. Their music is just starting to get very repetitive and i'm sure that they have used almost the exact same lyrics in two-three songs. Is this bothering anyone else?

Loving this...good song, great video. The video game part was kind of stupid, but entertaining...

When did DF add a bassist to their lineup? He wasn't in the "Through the Fire and Flames" video...

I'm 100% sure there was a bassist in both videos

He is the bassist from Heavenly.

Since I only own IR, I can't say anything about being repetitive compared to previous albums. Looking at this album individually, I don't see much of an issue other than the fact that every song has a similar structure with dueling solos each time. If your talking about the "far away" lyric being used in both songs that have been made into videos, I noticed that too, but I think it's just like BG's "no _______ on my side" lyric being used on IFTOS or Iron Maiden using "crazy dream" a couple of times on NOTB.
