Breaker Records is the label of Udo Dirkschneider (UDO, Accept).

Double Action plays typical melodic heavy metal .... à la Accept. Songs are predictable from the first second till the last one, as they follow the classical path of verse-chorus-verse-chorus-solos-chorus. These guys are very influenced by the 80's German metal (who said too much) and the frontiers between Double Action and Accept doesn't exist (also reminding me a little bit AC/DC or Iron Maiden). This "explain" may be why Udo signed that band ???

Actually, I bought this one mainly for one song : Hot Stuff. Yes, being a huge fan of The Full Monty (film), I let you imagine how funny it is to listen to this track. Each time I listen to this song, I can almost see these guys dancing and throwing out their clothes ;-)))

The production could have been much better (why saving money in the prod' ... I will never understand this choice) and as said above, the song-writing has no chance to surprise the listener. Average chorus, average song ... for an average album.

These guys can do much better ... especially if they don't try to please Udo.
