Album of the month

I had no idea what to expect when I put this CD in the player. Although this is Pro-Pain's 6th album, I didn't know them, since I'm not really into hardcore. But it didn't take until the end of the first track to know that I was going to love that record.

Pro-Pain plays the kind of music that one can immediately enjoy. No need to concentrate or to listen 10 times to the album before understanding it, those songs hit you straight in the face (the boxing ring on the cover art and the album's title make sense). Their influences are not only in hardcore but also in heavy-metal. They play fast riffs that, if they don't seem overly complex, are totally effective. Angry but not brutal, this music is very catchy and the very warm sound of the guitars makes it even catchier. It's difficult not to press the play button again at the end of the album.

Even if you're not a fan of hardcore this CD is great purchase, just as long you like plain ol' good music!!
