Surprise of the month

I believe that an average sound quality belongs to the last millenium, and I guess The Forsaken believe it too, since they have managed a perfect production for their death metal debut album!

I know some people will say that without great music even the best sound isn't worth anything. Off course they are right, in this case the band has nothing to be ashamed of. Their skills are impressive. The Forsaken's music is complex and with no compromises, it will require a few spins to be fully appreciated. But once your brain has adjusted to this new level of auditive data and is able to assimilate it, you're gonna love the great songwriting alternating melodic and brutal parts (mostly the later kind in fact). The musicians have the ability necessary to play even the most technical and fast parts. The vocalist, Anders Sjoholm (Ominous), is a very complete death metal vocalist able to produce all the possible kinds of voices (understand "growls" ;) of the genre that we all expect and love.

From Sweden comes the first death metal bomb of the year 2001! Make sure it explodes in your CD player!
