Stefan is a moron for saying that.

The reason more women don't play metal is because metal is pretty much a giant kielbasa factory and the few women who do make it in are proposed to repeatedly or yelled at for bothering to try her hand at a man's job, even if that isn't why they say they hate them for.

Such... idiocy.

That's how it is here in Arizona, sorry, but it's true. Most of them just go to the shows to look slutty or go because of their boyfriend!

I like some bands that have girls in them though, but not many...

I would to if they made another album like their s/t. “Beyond the Sea” was very upsetting. That’s an overstatement. It was decent, but very disappointing.

Hit.. I like: Nightwish, Within Temptation, Battlelore, Sinergy, Edenbridge, Lana Lane, Darkwell, Oratory, whatever chick or chicks sings random Therion songs, Arwen.. etc..

Though other than Nightwish and Battlelore I dont listen to any of those bands nearly as much as I used to.

EDIT: forgot about Xandria and Leave's Eyes

There are good girl bands: Girlschool were pretty good, Zeenon (mostly female) are a kickass tech-death band, and, erm...

Agreed with Aaron anyway, metal's almost as sexist, homophobic, racist etc as rap is.
