I kinda like this now, on the nth listen. The production (drums to high, vocals to low rtc.) kinda ruins it, but I'm just lying back and absorbing the chaos, therefore getting into it more. Might pick up the 2nd album, whateverit'scalled-you know the one.

From Enslavement To Obliteration? It's probably superior, from the little I've heard.
Was Scum your first ND album?

Isengard - Hostmorke.

So underrated. You love folk, you gotta love Isengard.

I don't have that one. Hostmorke is godly imo.

btw for the people who don't know it it's another old side project of the god Fenriz of Darkthrone.

Yes, so maybe I was caught off guard.
Morbid Angel-Altars of Madness
If only the vocals were better! The chant secton on Chapel Of Ghouls "Satan in the fire of hell awaits"etc. has great vocals, though.

Almost any other album would've been better (ND), even the looked down upon middle ones, which are more or less kickass. I started with Fear, Emptiness, Despair , enough catchy riffs to make it listenable and once you've 'got' it the heavier stuff sounds even better!

my first Napalm Death was The Peel Sessions... I couldn't (and still can't) tell one song from the other...

TPS has unusually bad production. Try downloading one of the other albums, like Inside The Torn Apart or the new one. Jello Biafra's on it....

I said it was my first, not my only one... I've heard pretty much everything ND did and I deeply respect them... it's just not for me...

I like Høstmørke better, but Vinterskugge is awesome too, especially if you want some good old-school death metal. And Fenriz's clean vocals are amazing (many will disagree, though).

Michiru Oshima - Fullmetal Alchemist OST 1

I'll keep my eyes open for it. Fenriz does better clean vocals than Ihsahn imo (on IX E. at least).

If you have an email that can receive 10-12 MB sized files and has a lot of space (e.g. Gmail) then I can send you the whole album. Just PM me.
