I know very little about this band, I just picked up their CD a little while ago and it's pretty kick ass. Another sort of throwback band, but I'm not sure the tag of The Dead 60's is accurate, maybe The Dead 70's would have been a better fit, but they still kick ass in very early punk-like, reggae-ish way. I heart their debut single a while ago and, though it was some good fun, I never came back to it... to many bands and too little time to listen to The Dead 60's...

I don't think they sound like any of the other bands trying to pull this off. What band's do you think sound like them?

Franz Ferdinand, The Zutons, The Strokes etc... they don't exactly sound like any other band but an awful lot like many other popular acts... sounds like a marketed product to me...

Agreed with Zad, although the first time I heard them I was a lot more excited about them than I am at this point in my puny, ptiful gothic/emo existence.

Definitely not a band you could listen to for days on end, but still quality music to listen to from time to time.

Riot Radio's alright, but as TIE says, there's a lot of bands that sound like that. Check out Kasabien, Ken, they're not bad, a bit more electronic-y.

Because I like him. I was a bit stresswed out over the hatred I have of this band, but agreed-they are better than FF.

Which he isn't. But never mind that, you're less likely to say 'what a stupid fucking thing, blah' and go OTT. Your problem is that it's more or less constant blamblamblam, dumb, stupid, etc. I'm not really affected by it, but it annoys. And this is where others get real problems from.

Go back prior to the Valefor argument and find where I constantly "blamblamblam, dumb, stupid, etc." Please. It's funny because a few people have said this, yet the one person that steps up and does go back and look things over comes back and apologizes. So go find examples.
