I know all about Led Zeppelin! Who's being ignorant here? I think they're overrated! Very simple. Has Jimmy Page ever played a solo he hasn't fucked up??

Look, Jimmy Page is a great guitarist, but the dude is so sloppy it's not even funny.

I've seen him on stage on the Page/Plant tour and he was just perfect... his problem with alcohol & drugs certainly didn't help in in the late 70's to early 90's (have you heard The Firm ? it's dreadful ! :( ) but since then he got himself together and rocks like a true real rock legend he is... imo you should check his live with The Black Crowes, it perfectly demonstrates how wrong you are...

Stub, shut the fuck up. Being ignorant of something and not liking something are two totally different things.

Agreed;and you belong to the "being ignorant" part of the population(as far as hard rock is concerned)... and to the "rude talking" part of the population as well!

I find it amazing that I was defending your idiotic ass recently. Ignorant? Again (in bold caps this time), NOT LIKING SOMETHING IS FAR DIFFERENT FROM BEING IGNORANT!! Do you understand that? How am I all of a sudden rude??

Ok Ken,i give up!You know everything about Led Zeppelin(and about the other aformentioned rock bands),Jimmy Page is a bad guitarist, and you're a good guy....and Rick Allen is a great drummer...and your avatar is great as well!

BTW,thanks for having defended my idiotic ass(no,you're not rude at all  ):i was in great need for helb, being attacked by the warriors of steel(Metallness and Metal Storm)

I have just a couple of Def Leppard albums, Slang and a greatest hits compilation. Have to pick some more DL. Slang is highly underrated. A very good album. I would give it an 82/100.

It is. You should hear how heavy the original version of "Truth?" is. Holy crap! They actually have a lot of unreleased songs that are heavy. Too bad they don't put them on albums.

There are way too many to post here. Do you have Soulseek? Here a few rare tracks:

TRUTH? (Original Demo)
WARCHILD (1978 Demo)
TOMORROW SEEMS LIKE YESTERDAY (1978 Demo of "Sorrow Is A Woman")
GLAD I'M ALIVE (1979 Demo)

I think they've changed a little bit since those demos, eh?

I'm probably the only one around here that thinks Slang is one of their worst next to X.I just didn't like the overall sound they were going for the songs were just uninspiring to me that's just my opinion though.

I think it's merely allright, just nothing that is worth my time to listen to. It's like we are supposed to congratulate them on coming up with an album that didn't utterly suck.

I think you could take the best songs from Adrenalize onwards and make a single decent Def Leppard album.

That's crazy. Euphoria had some killer tunes on it, man. Aside from the weird ones like "All Night" and "21st Century Sha La La La Girl" (what kind of fucking title is that?), that album was excellent. Songs like "Day By Day" and "Paper Sun" were old school, heavy, long solos, that album was great. X was terrible. Two good songs, the rest was top 40 shit that could have been NSync songs. Adrenalize was also a good album, very tongue-in-cheek, though. Had it come out in 1989 it would have fared better, but in 1992 (I think that's when it came out) music had taken a huge "serious" turn and song like "Let's Get Rock" and "Make Love (Like A Man)" just didn't get accepted as well. Of course, that album did sell a lot of copies.

Ha! I knew that'd get a response

I agree there are some decent songs, that's why I said there was enough so you could throw them all together for a decent album.

But it just can't compare to the old stuff... I saw them in concert about a year ago (they opened with Let It Go - awesome!) and the crowd response to everything from Hysteria and before was like an order of magnitude greater than the new stuff, except for maybe Let's Get Rocked which sounds great live. Although I'm glad they played 'Two Steps Behind', it gave me a chance to go get a beer!

Well, I'm quite the fanboy, but not a retarded one. If I were I'd be defending X by saying it's a great album. A lot of DL fans claim it is. It's horrible horseshit.

Anyway, I don't know why they don't play more older songs. They think they have to play the hits. No, you don't. They were playing "Another Hit And Run" the last time they toured! Holy fuck that song is awesome. People loved it. When they did the VH1 Storytellers show, people were screaming for "Wasted," they played the opening riff, people went nuts and they stopped. WTF? I like the new stuff, but you play what the fans want. I would love to hear "Overture" live, I think that would be a killer song for a metal band to cover.

Hysteria&Adrenalize-excellent pop rock albums

Slang-sucks

Euphoria-decent

X-sucks even worse then Slang

That's how I feel by the way Eyesore how can you not include Adrenalize that is a great album.
