I don't like all (for example Magnetic Fields bores me) but it's an overall good choice (DM too !)

only thing that troubles me is why you keep posting that in the "extreme" metal forum... :?

What's boring about TMF...? I think they do great catchy love pop songs. I'm pretty partial to good catchy love pop songs... so 69 more is something I can really apreciate. :D

Also... who was the one who said the new Eels album was great... Rio, Ken or Dee?

I think it was Quentin or am I mistaking... I think it's good too but I still feel myself more attracted to their wonderful debut album or Daisies of the Galaxy

as for Magnetic Fields, I see nothing that catchy, I hate their sound and the vocals too...

you still haven't answered why you posted pop purchases in this particular section..

Mayhem - Wolfs Lair Abyss
Lucifugum - Sociopath Philosophy Cynicism

Well technically, the Mayhem album wasn't a personal purchase (It was infact recieved from a friend). The lucifugum was slightly harder to get hold of, so I've purchased it on download until I can locate an album Offline. I doubt it'll be of much use, but if you don't happen to know about them it's worth checking out their website:

Just ordered Arcturus' La Masquerade Infernale... Thought it was about time I got a better record collection.

Hmm, it seems a little too fast and boring for my taste... Nothing new under the sun either...

It works for some atleast. If you're more into the Black/Death metal scene it's a bit easier to pick out the differences between 'Fugum and other bands, notabley, [in comparison with Mayhem] 'Fugum have a slightly more musical approach. However, in regards to the Vocals and Precussion "Nothing new" is probably the right suggestion.

Still worth checking out though.

Who bands? Sure, I'll put up a reply tommorow (I'll be needing some time to think it over). :)

By the way, apologies if I've sort of, infringed or your Black Metalness  . Do you have any download suggestions?

Hehe, no need to apologize, for I talked you into it...

Here are some (mostly) popular albums you can start with:

Bekhira - L'Élu Du Mal
Noenum - Black Esoteric Evangelium
Taake - Nattestid
Mystic Forest - Green Hell
Drudkh - Autumn Aurora
Ulver - Bergtatt
Woods Of Ypres - Against The Seasons
Nachtmystium - Demise
Vlad Tepes - March To The Black Holocaust (split with Belketre)
Lunar Aurora - A Haudiga Fluag (split with Paysage D'Hiver)
Interitus - The Journey
Nagelfar - Hünengrab Im Herbst
Mütiilation - Remains Of A Ruined, Dead, Cursed Soul
Forest Of Fog - Nebelhymnen

These are all awesome pieces of black metal, I'm sure you have heard of some...

The Project Hate MCMXCIX - Armageddon March Eternal: Symphonies of Slit Wrists.

'Purchased' as in 'ordered.' I'm looking forward to its arrival.

Sure. I've already got some Ulver on download, and I believe I've already listened to some Nagelfar tracks. I'm trying to catch up on the rest of the tracks on limewire (bar Nachtmystium, which I also already happen to have), limewire being an absoloute bitch when it comes down to Black Metal.

Anyway, heres some of my preffered bands (No particular order);

Pelican
Clutch
Mayhem
EDM http://www.blackmetal.com/cgi-bin/gold/category.cgi?category=search&item=BMC66615CD&type=store
Crionics
Mork Gryning http://www.blackmetal.com/cgi-bin/gold/category.cgi?category=search&item=BLOD034CD&type=store
Nachtmystium
Lucifugum
Krisiun
Opeth
Clandestine Blaze

That's only a few and far between, off the top of my head. It's pretty much, in large, all Black metal (Excluding Clutch and Pelican). Infact, I've only recently got into Pelican, off the bottom of your sig as it happens Gast :P .

Oh and by the way, a Welsh Black metaller?

Lucifugum's best. Of course if you are more into early Nokturnal Mortum, etc; then try On the Sortilage of Christianity. And I'm not surprised Misha disliked it.

Some say they have awesome lyrics I say it's rubbish, but the music is nice.

In addition to Symbolic, I also bought Pleasure To Kill by Kreator. I'll post my thoughts on it once I listen to it.

I think you are mixing up Naglfar and Nagelfar, the second one is good the first one is über crappy and boring soulless norsecore.

Good list, I haven't heard EDM, but will check it out.
