Yeah, to like a review that you don't agree with is of course completely oxymoronic. ;)

But anyways, especially in those reviews where I try to sound controversial and mean like on the ones for Dream Evil and Tankard I definitely come off as way too try-too-hard. Criticism, constructive or otherwise, is more than welcome of course;)

Yeah well, they're obviously all well written, but its difficult to like a review that you don't agree with. The Dream Evil one in particular got my back up. :x :wink:

I like his stuff on the actual site, but on the boards he's an annoying ass. Just a typical elitist "If you don't agree with me you're wrong!" type. Kind of like Stub.

Stub is in no way that kind of arrogant ass... like we say in france "knowledge is like jam, when you got little you have to spread it a lot"... I think that defines his lack of metal culture and explains why he comes off so badly annoying to most of you... :twisted:

As is in no way OSS...I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about and I read his posting all the time. Having Metallica as his favorite band ought to speak for itself.

I subscribe to a similar restrictive rating policy, but that's not saying attaining a score 100% from me is an utter impossibility. Though I highly doubt I will ever come across such an album, seeing as Queensrÿche's Operation: Mindcrime has been my highest rated album for a good 2½ years now at 97%. :?

I hate those little numbers tacked on at the end. If you can't make your mind up from the review itself, you suck. And the album in question deserves it.
