Idlewild's first three albums, JJ72, most anything by Teenage Fanclub. A good deal more indie and guitar pop. A good percentage of Europe and Bon Jovi (borderline I guess). Sonata Arctica or Bodom should cover Runaway and Bad Medicine.

Mastodon? Now way. Pantera would have been an excellent choice. They probably would have done a bad ass job with "The Thunder Rolls," too.

so, sure, Boston is not a genuine metal band (far from it) but the fact remains they still belong to our scene as all old hard rock bands do !
