Queensryche - Operation: mindcrime

So far I prefer Warning, but I'm sure it'll grow on me.

My first purchase this year...

Nevermore - The Politics Of Ecstasy ( I actually haven't heard this album, so I bought it blindly. I hope it is worth it.)

Last Tribe - The Uncrowned ( I wanted this for so long and finally it's mine  )

Alice In Chains - Facelift ( Their first and one of their best, although i'm not much into grundge. It was interesting to find out that Jim Sheppard was for a short period of time in AiC before joining Sanctuary and later Nevermore)

It is Nevermore always puts out stellar stuff.

Yeah Dirt was good but Dirt < Alice In Chains. That albums blows every other AiC record and the album cover is sick.
As I've said i'm not much into that kind of music, (but hey that's why i nominated you for least metal :D ) so i don't know about Stone Temple Pilots but what i've heard from Soundgarden didn't impressed me much.

Suspyre - The Silvery Image
Destiny's End - Transition
Sinergy - Beware The Heavens

It's been a while since I bought anything. The Destiny's End CD is a good find. When the fuck is Sinergy releasing Sins Of The Past? Goddamn!

System of a Down - Hypnotize

By system's standards this is a bit formulaic, not as catchy as Mezmerize. It will probably have some decent replay value, however.

Helloween - Keepers II

A few more catchy riffs than Keepers I, but Keepers I takes the cake. Not as good as I remember - especially the Kiske songs. 'Keeper of the Seven Keys' is way too long for how good it is.

Lullacry - Vol. 4
Icarus Witch - Capture The Magic
Ion Vein - Reigning Memories

That goddamn Lullacry album is so fucking catchy!
