I was going to wait until I heard this album to comment on this review, but since nobody is responding to it I'll just say; I'll be checking this one out and nice review Dee. Epic doooom with moments of power metal?! Sweeeeeet!

This one struggled with Cathedral's new one for the 5. place in my doom top, but I somehow like The Garden... better, although it's hard to compare them with each other.

I absolutely agree with Dee about traditional heavy metal fans, I think they will enjoy this opus as well.

Great review, Dee, continue to keep an endless stream of doom reviews (and I am still waiting for the promised classic  ).

thanks for the comments. as for the promised review, I have to say that if I get the chance to add a Classic, it'll be Epicus Doomicus Metallicus so Grief will probably have to wait, teehee..

I already armed myself with patience so I hope that maybe I will see it in 2006 :)

Yes, yes, at long last! I knew you wouldn't let the doom faithful down.

As for the review, spot on. I really liked this album. Like Desolate, Forevermore battled for the 5 spot on my top doom releases, eventually settling in at number 6. A great epic doom band, which there can never be enough of in my opinion.

I'm loving this influx of great doom reviews Dee, keep up the good work!

I really like this album. I get a big Candlemass vibe from it, although some stuff in the second half is would be a little left field for Candlemass. Their singer has a great voice.
