Not very hard, I'd say. The Red Chord, I think, are one of the worst metalcore bands to ever acquire a record deal. Truly awful.

But some fools think that their blend of 'core and grind is somehow good and innovative. This lot kicks their ass in ever way imaginable.

I'll give them a try later and then post my (un)professional opinion. Penguins shitting on xylophones sounds better than The Red Chord.

Hey, you're right.

I mean, I like The Red Chord, but this is indeed better.

I might pick this one up.

Aren't the Red Chord just Dillinger Escape Plan wannabees with some crappy breakdowns and bad vocals? Or at least that's what I remember from their first album... apparently their second one is even worse

The Ocean are sweet... although I wouldn't compare them to The Red Chord...

Hmmm...this is good. I'm not sure if I'd go out of my way to find it, but if I came across this band I'd definitely pick it. How are the really long songs? Do they get tedious and boring?

Everytime I see his name I'm reminded of this 80's gem:

I forgot about it... never heard it but I read a couple of interviews in various french magazines.. was it any good or just another of Varney's superfast guitar wankers ?

and actually, this reminds me of her :

another metal magazine hero(in) that stayed on paper for 99% of us metalheads I guess... some might have stucked the pages because of her suggestive poses...

It's a self-wanking turdfest, though the "Paint It Black" cover is cool.

Far from it, their longer songs are their best.

Not from a tape. I'll see if I can find it on MP3, though.
