I'm relieved.

Cant f'n wait. A new release from my favorite band. I've been waiting for this since the day after I picked up A Night at the Opera.

I have complete faith in this band. They could write a nu-metal album and it would an amazing nu-metal album! When does this single come out?

Some people see them as already having sold out. You could debate this one for hours, but I personally like the older style much better. A Night at the Opera tried to do too much. Hopefully this one will be more straightforward.

NATO is not a bad album yes I prefer the older stuff myself but overall it's not as bad as people think it is I like it.

Trust me it would have been worse if they did what Selloutica did and just completly put out a shitty album and change their overall sound.

If a band wants to sell out, they don't write an album like Night At The Opera. Come on, that's just ridiculous.

Changing styles does not equate to selling out. This album sounds awesome! I really want to hear that single... wish he had given us a release date for it (sounds like it is coming soon).

Well my biggest problem is with the vocals. He went from having this really gutteral and powerful voice where he could hit high notes but still kick your ass with lower thrash style ones. Now he sings more cleanly all the time, layers every vocal line 30 times, and has to make all the vocal lines themselves be way too bombastic. THere's a part in the song Journey through the Dark....where he changes the vocal line and starts singing "I can't remember my name". THey don't do parts like that anymore either. WHich saddens me.

The way Hansi used to sing would likely have torn his throat to pieces within a few years. I'm sure during the vocal training he's been through over the past decade, that came up, and he probably took a step back to protect his voice. The vocal layering is a preference issue, but it was poorly mixed on ANATO, so some people's dislike of it stems as much from the sound of the final product as from the layering itself.

A Night at the Opera wasn't a sellout... it was just very, very overdone...
