Hello there,

First of all, I want to mention that the production is very good for a demo, maybe a bit too good. The female vocals fit very well, but I think the raw vocals could use a little bit more of a sorrowful undertone. Their emotionlessness sort of contradicts the rest of the music. The last thing I'd love to see different is the song structures, they are very pop-like and I think it would amend the music if they were more abstract, less vocals and no verse-chorus structures. It would be a boost for the originality as well.

Ofcourse these are all just little things or things inflicted by my personal taste in music. The music is very good and especially the riffs and melodies are strong troughout the songs. I think the only thing that could be better is the atmosphere, it's possible to put a lot more sorrow into music like this.

Good luck with the project,

Misha

How long was it between the first and the last demo?
I, by mistake, downloaded the first one first and to be honest it´s not something I would listen to but I dowloaded the last one anyway to see if it was any better and I´m really impressed. I really like the mix with the clean female vocals and the raw male, is it the same singer as on the first demo? If you keep improving like this I can really see you getting somewhere with your music.
If you ever come to Sweden, let me now.

I listened to the third song and I kept saying 'what's WRONG with this dude's voice?' but after the second song realized it was in fact no dude..

I'm not sure I detect an intent to portray sorrow (more like angst), so I think the vocals are fine the way they are. I get a buzz off 'em.

Overall, I think it's excellent and worthy of a purchase.

hello, thanks for the nice words!
the first demo is from 2002, but 2 of the songs are from 2000 i think.

the 2. demo is from 2004

on the 2 first demos we had a singer called heidi, she left, becaurse she moved to the us for a year, so Liv became our new blood.

hey thanks for the great words. i can tell you that we worked alot on the vox, we might have forgotten to ad a little more atmosphere:) still we are happy whit the result, we only had 5 days or so in the studio. the new stuff we are writing now is a little more complex and if you can say so out of structure, so keep an ear out:)
