He may be right about some of this but he should look back and see the mainstream piece of crap that he turned The Haunted into before he talks, to begin with.

Every band is about making money. But those bands that compromise their musical integrity to make money are a different breed.

For the record, CoF > The Haunted.

I agree the outburst from Dolving is childish and I certainly lost a lot of respect for him, if not for the band. He is definately no match for Marco Aro the previous vocalist. I like The Haunted and was lucky enough to see them live when they visited South Africa in 2003. As for being better than CoF, I also have to agree. CoF is a band that relies on antics and being a spectacle to get recognition.

there a good band-ish. If they would tone down the gay factor and go back to their old style i would be quite pleased.

No, not really. I always found ATG to be overrated. I have Slaughter of the Soul, but like all Melodeath it doesn't do much for me. At least Gates was original though, The Haunted however, is not. And Mary may beat Jane, but Tarzan clubs them both.

Not every band is about making money, Black Metal is a good example of that, none of the bands are about making money except Dimmu and Cof and that sort of crap.
