But not anymore. Why the hell did I wait so long to listen to these guys. So far I've been really getting into their self titled (that's all I've heard). What else is worth getting?

Shut up Radagast!

Who, me?

All their albums are worth owning, but you already have the clear best. The second and third are in the same vein (but the third has a different singer), while the fourth moves into a more conventional Metal approach with virtually none of the folk melodies or medieval lyrics.

In order of goodness:

Falconer
Chapters From A Veil Forlorn/The Sceptre of Deception (can't seperate these two)
Grime Vs Grandeur.

I've heard bits and pieces of Grime VS Grandeur. My brother likes it, and has been pushing me to get into Flaconer for some time now. I'll look into the other two.

I agree with Radagast about the order of the albums.I personally have a fav. song from each album and they are in that order too.

1. Lord Of The Blacksmiths (Falconer)
2. Stand In Veneration (Chapters From A Vale Forlorn)
3. The Coronation (Scepter Of Deception)
4. Jack The Knife (Grime VS Grandeur)

I don't listen to Grime VS Grandeur any more, except for 2-3 songs. The other 3 albums are not so easy to let go or forget.I recommend listening them in that order too.

I'm sorry but the first was the only one that didnt have that forced formulaic sound. It just kinda flowed. The next one sounded really generic, and I didnt even bother with the other ones. SO I'm sure you were all counting on something like that from me, but I felt I had to explain my choice.

I'm not complaining. I just figured you'd say that. No offense. :D

Fair enough, but how the Hell you can say "Only the first one is good" when you "didnt even bother with" the third and fourth ones?

the first and second are great the third is good (listen to hooves over northland) and the fourth is bland (jack the knife was the only song i could dig), hope that helps you.

Well, when I hear descriptions of the albums from people on the forum, and then when they say that not even they thought the albums were that good, then I think its a safe assumption for me to completely dismiss them.
