Post subject: Want Lists: Anyone Interested In Trading?
PostPosted: Thu Nov 10, 2005 7:46 pm
I know a lot of us have problems finding CDs we want, which are easier for other people. I am wondering if anyone is interested in starting a trader's circle, of sorts. I have an idea as to how we can keep it legit, but I figure I'll put the question out there first before typing it all out.

Anyway, this is the metal CDs I am looking for. Some may not be too hard to find, or hard at all, but they're more than likely CDs I don't want to pay full price for. So post your Want Lists and maybe we can all get something going.

I have three of the albums you want (Darkane and the two Sanctuary; don't ask), but I am absolutely certain that you have nothing I like, since you hate black metal and grind, and I have all the death I could possibly want.

So... good luck, eh?

Well, this idea flopped like a wet titty. :(

Just so you know, don't waste your time with Lifetime Supply of Guilt. If you're going to get something by The Duskfall, get Frailty or Source. I put up a review of Lifetime Supply in the Death/Black/Thrash section, look it up if you want to know why, exactly, you shouldn't waste your time or money, especially if you don't have their first two albums.

You reviewed this right? And we all critiqued it, sort of? Yeah, I have Frailty and Source, great CDs. The clips from Guilt sound good, though. I don't know. This is a CD I won't buy for more than $5 anyway, so I'm not worried much about it. It can't be that bad...can it? :(

No, if you can find it for under five bucks, go for it. Don't pay full price, though.

No, I hardly ever do. Very few bands will I do this for. I make decent money, but if I paid full price for every CD I bought I wouldn't be able to afford toothpaste and toilet paper!

I have the above for trade. What do you have?

Edit: They're tapes, if you don't mind.

As zadster says, there are a few of these easily obtainable in UK shops. i know for a fact that the one quoted is.

Depends if you
a - can be bothered working out how much it would cost for postage
b - come up with a workable cash transfer system that covers all these costs
c - trust me

and I'd be happy to help.

Pffft! I have the tapes! Haha.

As for paying full price, no way. =) I actually have a friend in the UK that hooks me up with whatever I ask for. Her husbands not too down with it, hahaha, but I always try and thank him specifically when I pay them back through paypal. It doesn't work, he's still jealous. What a tool.

Anyway, thanks Vikie. I still have that list you sent me, too.
