Sure X Japan are fruity, but they are still among my most favourite speed metal/power ballad bands.

My list :

power metal = Rhapsody

thrash = i guess i'm easily pleased, though the worst and most boring thrash album i ever heard is Genocide (JP)'s Black Sanctuary (1988)

death metal = all modern/commercial death metal

black metal = all faggothic and norsecore

classic metal = all fake 'true' metal bands

melodic death = all Gothenburg bands never did anythign for me... add Opeth too.

ultimate hall of shame = Metallica of course, not that i loved their first 3 though......

I think this is a stupid question. I don't like any power metal, how the fuck can I choose the worst? Worse death so far is probably CC, but worst BM? The stuff I've enjoyed least so far is hard to say.

Worst nu - metal? It's all bollocks!!! Agreed with afiegel about Da Cr$$ue, but I'm sure there's worse out there.

- I havent heard to much other than some Testament, Vio-lence, Ulysess Siren and I liked all of it. Though I do listen to some Carnal Forge and while I like it some, its the worst of everything I have heard or are they more death? I dunno.

Nice call on the Six Feet Under shittiness, Silent Man. They're a close second in my book.

Not sure. My least favourite of the moment is Anathema; in no way do they deserve their success, imho..

Melt Banana is fucking horrible bad.. don't know what to call the genre... perhaps Shit?
