Suffocation or similar Recomendations

Wanted to try them out so I downloaded a couple of tracks and quit enjoyed them and I need to know what a good standing point in the discography. I am new to this style of music for the most part.

Any other suggestions for soom good Death Metal in the same vien?

The best Suffo album is imo "Pierced from within"...go with that one.
Next to go with is "The effigy of the forgotten" (more oldschool one)

Try Vader or Decapitated.

I don't listen to Suffocation because they suck. But those bands are brutal and technical, so have at them.

Yeah I agree with RadicalCut, i thought Suffocation was so good before i got my hands on bands like Decapitated, Necrophagist, Vader etc etc... now they are just an avarage band. Not so bad like Radical Cut said though.. :roll:
