Mystic Forest anyone?

It was already mentioned, but you are kinda right. Although bands like Klabautamann have much more in common, and this sounds more like Nattens Madrigal, it's still DAMN GOOD!!! The later got more original though, but I think it's a safe pick for Carnifex, as long as she doesn't pick up Waltz In The Midst Of Trees.

As it was recently payday I'm going to order my monthly black metal fix just about now. I've heard good things about Mystic Forest and the review here sounds promising. Are there any of their albums that stand out?

Green Hell and Welcome Back In The Forest are pure BM, both good but go for Green Hell first.
Romances is less pure BM, but awesome as well and even more original. Get Green Hell and Romances, stay away from Waltz.
