How is it? I've been eyeing this one for quite awhile now. I have heard Black Label, and the breakdown makes me want to shit myself from epileptic shock (and I mean that in the best way possible... It's awesome)

Judging from that song, the vocals will take some getting used to.

I never really got into it, but if you're a huge fan of the band and that song it probably should be worth it for you.

I'm inwardly debating whether to move this, but I suppose not.

Get it. Now.

I can't recommend this band. I just don't hear the quality songwriting to deem them good. They've got all the ingredients, but haven't figured out how to use them yet.

IMO the breakdowns in Ruin and 11th Hour are better. One thing about Lamb of God that separates them from other metalcore bands is that their breakdowns are actually good.

If you like their later stuff, then there is a pretty decent chance you'll like New American Gospel. Depending on my mood, sometimes I think it's their best album. N.A.G. just seems the most chaotic, volatile, and destructive. Great Steve Austin production on it.

As the Palaces Burn is their Devin Townsend album (literally) -- a wall of glorious noise, and Ashes of the Wake is like their ...And Justice for All. By the last comparison, I mean the riffs seem like they're trying to be more technical, but the songs feel like 3 to 4 riffs jammed together that don't flow that great.

Yeah def Lamb of Gods finest work. Lots of goodies. The drumming is very unique on this cd. Im kinda not listening to LOG anymore, dont ask me why, i guess the whole mainstream exposure is turning me off. But this cd is way better than anything else they've put out. If you really want to start from the begining though, get there self titled disc when they were called Burn The Priest

Breakdowns in metalcore are a must. Unearth has some really good breakdowns.........and some really awful breakdowns (ones that make the nu-metal kids get into metalcore) Nu-metal kids should just die. hahaha i bet theres gonna be so many of them trick or treating this year, BECAUSE THEY HAVE SLIPKNOT MASKS AT HOT TOPIC!

urgh. Really? Well even when i thought that the whole nu-metal deal was ''cool'', (which wasn't too long ago, start of last year actually) and bands like Dark Tranquility were 'too heavy' and Iron Maiden 'too pussy', i still found this to be an awful cd. They tried too hard to be extreme and still fit in the mainstream. I wonder how much cred they'd have if they pursued a more aggressive sound, like their former bands Body Pit and Anal Blast, which were supposed to be straight-up death metal. Do you think they could have got any underground credibility?

Do I need to say anything, or does the namedropping MA Knowledge speak for itself?

Anyway, get the damn CD already, Legacy. Now.
