Woot, outcast is by far my least favorite kreator album, but 10000 times better than god hates us all.

I'd say its their worst album, but still pretty good. I wouldn't judge Dark Angel on that album.

But Endorama isn't euro-thrash.. I mean, I completely agree with you, I love euro thrash more too, but Endorama isn't even anywhere near metal, and you may be the first person who I've ever met who preferred it to anything Slayer have done in their career. To each his own, I guess.

Well, I just listened to Violent Revolution this morning. There's little to say except that it is FUCKING AMAZING! Kreator is probably one of the few bands I've heard that musically keeps the spirit of thrash alive without sounding worn or dated. It's interesting that you're comparing them to Slayer since I do hear a lot of Slayer influence in their music. Mille Petrozza even sounds a bit like Tom Araya crossed with Steve Souza. I'll probably have to listen to them a little more (along with some more of their albums) to really decide, but one thing's for sure. They certainly put out a far better comeback album in 2001 than Slayer did that same year.

I have listened to just one Kreator album, dunno which it was, must've been a compilation of tracks. It was a recorded tape given to me by one of my friends and I liked that a lot. Seasons In The Abyss is one of my all time favs, but from what I have listened to, I feel Kreator have the edge over Slayer. The kind of music they play, their songs, definitely appeal more to me.

I have a special relatoinship with RIB since it was my first metal album (along with Maidens Number Of The Beast) and thereby an entry point to metal for me.. But I still have to say KREATOR..

:shock: It occurs to me that I forgot Kreator in the Favorite thrash albums thread.. Shame on me! :oops: I better go and edit.

*For your information I'm trying to kick myself in the balls right now (as a punishment) and it is actually harder than you think..

Coma Of Souls is a great album too, Frank Gosdzik's best solos are in there !

Reign In Blood may have lost its appeal today for me but i'll never forget Reign In Blood, it was my first metal album.
