Has anyone heard this one man show from Germany? I read this review on metalcrypt(he gave it a 5+/5)and downloaded an mp3 form the band's site and was tottaly blown away :o
i'm getitng into this underground black metal thingi which I wish i'd discovered earlier :D anyways, I like how this song goes from total fast and furious to this realy ambient melancolic foresty feel:D ..just the awesome coldness..
You guys shoud go to their site and dl the sond if u already haven't. :

Awesome band, I must say. Not very original, there is far more stuff like this around, but it's still high quality.

hmm.. i agree.. but i wouldn't say there far more stuff like this... " far more stuff" is darkthronish and burzumish stuff :P

But TRoB has some quite weird tracks as well, i think, which is more or less original, since nobody else wouldn't have come up with them, f.ex. Procession of pawns... anywho.. i for one wouldn't have rated it as high as myrrthronth did due to my personal taste, a few changes on some of the weird tracks would have me love it very much... but i'll give it somewhere around the 8-9/10, i think :)

btw.. the music reminds me of Lunar Aurora, Deathspell Omega and sometimes a bit of Thorns... ... is that right? :D

just though this band needed a bit more attention, so i uploaded the first track from the album "unlock the shrine" that's half black, half weird... just jump 4 min into the song to get to the good part, or the start of the good part, if you will.

01 Between Bronze Walls mp3

I heard this band earlier and liked it but didn't search any further. Maybe I should get unlock the shrine.

perhaps you should, but be aware, one third of the tracks aint black metal as such, but weird creepy atmospheric tracks - but i see them as an extension to the "shrine" theme. The only problem i have with the album is it's length (70min), due to my weaking attention span  so i mostly listen to it while doing other stuff at the same time.

btw, if your interested you can buy my copy, i dloaded the album before buying it, so i have been playing mp3's so far, so the cd is in mint condition. And now i have ordered the Lp version, so i have no need for the cd anymore... you can get it for 9 $ postpaid, if you like.

Good band but not as amazing as many people say it is.

Nagelfar was 100 times better.

Hünengrab im Herbst is one of the best BM albums ever. Virus West is also great, and IMO better than TRoB. But yes, TRoB are a great band as well.
