Not spamming, huh? You had to create a new thread for the same thing you wrote in your other thread??

As for your new song, again the production is pretty bad. If this is final product material, then you need to work on the production. The song itself is a bit boring, the hurky-jurky riff just sounds awkward, picture a retard with one leg line-dancing. It just doesn't work very well. The vocals are a bit monotone, but you're looking for a new vocalist, right? Look for a better one. She's not bad, but she's just not very powerful in her delivery. There are good aspects to the song, I like the solo work, too.

I give this song a 45/100. And I'm not doing this because you're a spammer. I'm giving you an honest, unbiased opinion. The main problem with this song is that verse riff, it's terrible. Replace that riff with something new, beef up the chorus with a bigger hook, and work on the production.

We don't have a problem with you discussing / searching for a new vocalist on this forum.

However, we ask that you not create additional threads when one already exists for the topic at hand. In this case, 3 seperate threads exist for the same band. This forces other threads off the front page of the forum. Additionally, thoughts are scattered amongst multiple threads. For the sake of order, please avoid "duplicate" threads.

Thanks for your understanding....

hurky jurky riff? oh well, sorry I couldnt meet your standards, but I thought a nice original riff would satisfy even the most close minded musicians. Then again, we can all be wrong sometimes.

Appreciatte your views/thoughts, not removing any credit. The production isn't final and I've found a better vocalist than the last.

oh yeah, for the record, if you read the bio, it says the words 'born with one hand' and 'plays all the instruments'.

make of it what you will.

Dude, you need to get thicker skin if you intend on being anywhere close to successful in the music business. You take criticism about as well as I take a horse-kick to the balls.

You, or whoever writes this material, are one-handed. Bravo! It doesn't change my opinion on the music.

that be me, the one-handed musician, also typing this right now.

thicker skin?

mate, i've got more skin than a fucking t-rex, I have too, otherwise, like you said, I wont amount to alot.

But just because I have thick skin, does that mean I shouldn't and couldnt reply or respond to comments/criticsm about my band/music?

if you believe that then lots of luck to you on that, but I personally like discussion about music because I generally know just what the hell I'm talking about. I have my reasons for this, one being I like many other genres of music away from rock and metal. I think modern rock and metal is shit, which is why I write and play this stuff.

besides, those tracks are demo form, but i feel they're sharp enough to stand out as good tracks. If you wanted to hear something that uses the same fucking sound of instruments compared to other modern and/or classic rock/metal bands then you're listening to the wrong band.

If I wanted to sound and be like other rock/metal bands I wouldn't write my own material, it defeats the object from the word go.

Man, that was some boring crap. Some of the vocal melodies were decent, but it sounds like she's straining a lot of the time, and the lyrics are just fucking ridiculous. She should at least work on her enunciation, a lot of the time she sounds literally retarted.

Contrary to what Eyesore thinks, I like that verse riff... for about sixteen seconds. It get more grating every time I listen. Sounds awkward, really.

The drumming was exceedingly unremarkable, and I honestly couldn't tell you much about the bass.

The production isn't nearly as bad as Eyesore made it out to be, but it's really not that great either. The guitars have no power or impact. The drums are barely there. Doesn't work well.

Good solo, though. The last couple of minutes in the song are, overall, better than the first couple.

Work on it.

If you look around the other forums, I'm sure you'll find something to your liking. By 'modern rock and metal' do you mean what's on the radio? There's a vast underground, and most of it is pretty good stuff. Don't give up on it just like that!

You are doing the right thing by finding a new singer. The one on your recordings sucks balls, and not in the good way. The music is okay, I think you could do more variation on the riffs though. I listen to Black Metal so I could give a less fuck about the production. I do applaud you for what you're trying to do as I get a late 70's-early 80's vibe from your music, which was the last time the Rock genre as a whole really mattered. I don't know why so many Rock musicians think they have to use 1-3 riffs for a whole song though. I'm not asking for a Thrash Metal riff-o-rama, just something that doesn't bore me after 2 minutes.

You're very welcome to dispute opinions, but you don't show any real interest in anyone's opinion if it is even remotely negative. You simply reply in a manner that says, "you're wrong, fuck off." As for the production, that is fine that they're demos, but when I say they're "demo quality" why do you have to take offense to that? In one breath you're defending the sound quality by saying "they're demos" and in another you're acting like they aren't demos or demo quality!

I've complimented your music on numerous occassions and not once have you seemed appreciative, you just take my non-complimentary comments and defend yourself against them and tell me I'm wrong. Whatever, dude. Good luck with your band.

Rick Allen would so kick your ass, by the way.

Don't get me wrong, i do appreciatte your thoughts and constructive analogies on my music, thank you, but I do feel a right to respond if need be.

Again, yes they're demos, but if you put me in a complete studio set up then you'd be listening to the bollocks of production.

I know what I need to do, just lacking the actual equipment to do it with at this precise time.

A new female vocalist has been brought in. She's alot sharper and can really create some decent melodies that dont necessarily copy my guitars.

For the record, i did play all the instruments too, so rick allen can go finger himself :D

New tracks will be here soon, but keep popping by if you fancy listening to the tunes anytime.

x.

Something tells me you have a handicap, not an entire arm missing.

Here? As in metalreviews.com? Dude, if you want a better reception to your music why not actively participate in the entire forum?? Take Holy_Terror for instance—who's an active member of this board, by the way—his band gets all kind of praise and they fucking suck! :D :D

Food for thought.

I think they rule. I think if they were to get signed they’d be even better.

Im only gonna post in other threads if I have something to say.

I dont see the point in writing nonsense in other peoples threads.

to each their own though

but I've just read the thing on Nightwish and it was quite similar to the situation between myself and my old singer.

and seeing as she tried to emulate tarja's vocal stylings all I can say is 'hahaha'.

nevertheless, yeah, if you wanna listen more

Not bad, but the singer......how can I say......Is AWFUL.
As for the riffs they are somewhat interesting but they don't vary much and gets bland after a certain amount of time. The tone is too often the same.
