The vocals are not emo, nor screamo. I'd say they're a cross between metalcore and heavy metal/thrash vocals.

Uh, dude, metalcore vocals ARE emo/screamo vocals.

No they're not!

Uh, yes, they are. For example, the difference between Trivium's vocals and Story of the Year's vocals is negligible. Metalcore is becoming so incredibly formulaic. Any musical talent in a band like Trivium is overshadowed by their run of the mill EMO/SCREAMO vocals.

It's about time Jaden pulled out the 'I am a vocalist, so you know nothing whatsoever' card.

Although I agree that there is about as much thrash in Trivium as there is water on the sun, but that's not a reason. There were kids like that at Gwar.

so...what you're trying to say is...

gwar is emo?

As if the prosthetic penis didn't make that obvious!

Why are people talking about Trivium...they are so Trivial...ha ha

ok I know, bad joke. But seriously I just went on a Mandator and Realm binge and it was fucking awesome.

Also I played Evil Eyes from the Savage Circus album and told one of my friends it was a new Blind Guardian track...and he totally bought it. Man what an idiot.

I did that to a friend with some Persuader song. He couldn't understand how BG had put out a new album and he never heard about it
Btw, does Persuader still exist or were they disbanded by Thomen's intervention? I'm asking because I like Evolution Purgatory a lot better than Dreamland Manore.

The Band still exist and are planning on realising a new album soon, and i believe they just rereleased their first album that was out of print.

They are probably the most over rated band this millenium!!!!
They are not even close to thrash, but they could be if they tried. To be fair they are alright.
