Who do you think is the better vocalist for this band, for me it's Peter Tagtgren all the way, but some people seem to think it's Mikael (don't know how to spell his last name) the opeth dude.

Peter sounded like he was actually going to reach through the speakers and rip out your eyes.

Mikael sounded pretty damn good, but just not AS good as Peter.

The hypocrisy singer no doubt about that.

That's a hell of a choice to ask someone to make. I agree with Dead Machine, though, Tagtgren has a slightly more aggressive edge to his voice that in turn gives the music a more aggressive edge. I like Akerfeldt more overall, though.

I definitely gotta go with Peter. Mikael is really good but Peter is just fucking amazing.

i have to go with mikael (akerfeldt?) i just can't get enough of that growl...and his clean vocals are just amazing considering the hell he puts his vox through

I'll agree with that. I think overall Peter was marginally better suited for the music, but in the end the difference isn't all that great.

Tagtren by a nose.

I go with Mikeal Akerfeldt, but not by much. both singers are equally amazing. This question is like asking someone if they'd rather have a Blonde 10 or a Brunette 10. You may like one a little bit better, but in the end you';d take both.

Tatgren by far. I've grown more and more repulsed by Mikael's cheesy vocals as time passes.

Peter, but I thought Mikael is at his best on RTC.

What's wrong with Peter is he says he's too busy :?

Anyway, for Bloodbath, I'd go with Tagtgren. If we were talking generally, I wouldn't be as sure.
