A BIG NO ! Din't listen to nu metal before i listened to metal. I have always felt uncomfortable with most nu metal and rap metal. I do like some nu metal, but rap metal? NEVER !

I don't want to go to Blabbermouth. It's pretty cool here.

There are some great nu-metal bands, and I dig on quite a bit of Limp Bizkit. I don't like the "wiggerisms," but when in the mood for something like that I can enjoy them. Their latest album is great. It's flopped like a cock in a bowl of jello, but mainly because they toned down the "wiggery," and that doesn't sell well. :D

Wes Boreland is a killer guitarist!

I understand it perfectly well. I've never heard anything by them, though, so I reserve judgment.

Well, except on the whole Good Charlotte thing.

Great rap group, though I'm not sure how they fucking rap about smoking weed so much! That's retarded! I've never smoked weed, so maybe I just don't understand the power of THC, who knows. Definitely an excellent and unique band within that horribly sad genre.

Nope listened to glam and NWOBHM way before nu-metal became the craphole that it is today.

Wow, do you really think the only thing I listen to is nu-metal? And they don't sell slipknot mask in Hot Topic. I just go there to get CDs and t-shirts.

Not all nu-metal is terrible. As I said, I got into metal through nu-metal. I listen to Strapping Young Lad, Nile, Hypocrisy and Ulver now, but four years ago you'd have found Soil, Disturbed and American Head Charge in my stereo.

Though I would suggest not shopping at Hot Topic anymore, Xygoraz, if only because they're very overpriced, especially on cds. I don't know where you are, but if you're in the northeast, Newbury Comics is generally a good place to go for music. And, obviously, the internet provides a lot of cheap shopping.
