I would be remiss if I did not bow to the death metal genius that is "Riders of the Apocalypse". This is probably the biggest unexpected surprise of any metal CD I have ever purchased. If only for the fact that it is almost the polar opposite of Therion, and yet manages to kick all forms of ass.

I think it had too many fillers on it. Some tracks awesome, others faded in their shadows.

That album kicks a truckload of ass! Probably my extreme metal album of 2004.

There are so many amazing things on this album but one of them are the fantastic solos! This guy shreds and does it melodically! It is just such a great mixture of old and new school death metal, you cant resist it.

Are they bringing out a new one any time soon?

I absolutely love Therion, I enjoyed Demonoid but never really got into the album that much.

I agree. I bought this one because of the first track and found out that the rest was boring.. I gave it to my father - he likes it 8)

Riders of the Apocalypse is awesome. Hopefully they release a new album sometime next year.

i loved this album...didnt think the slower tracks diminished the album in any way at all...'death' seemed like the perfect finisher to me as well, kinda summed it all up
