Do they really check for photo id at the doors? I mean, i'm not 19 until december and i want to go to the opeth show on the 14th of october. am i fucked?

I've never seen anyone getting ID'd at a gig before, but I suppose it depends on how old you look.

It depends on the venue. I've never been ID'd just to get in. But then again I've never been to an 18+ show, since I'm not 18 anyway.

If it's not an all-ages show and you don't look 40, they'll check your ID. At least they do around here.

Well, I went to Opeth friday night, and they didn't check any ID's at all ;)

I hope you get in, 'cause they rocked. The Grand Conjuration was the worst song in their set to me, but it was still ten times better than on album. Pretty varied set with the only albums not being touched Morningrise and Orchid. I especially loved it when they played Face of Melinda. It's probably my favourite mellow Opeth song, and I totally didn't expect them to ever play it live.
