Why on earth did they put Stockholm Syndrome right after Sing for Absolution? You end up sobbing all the way through the hardest song on the CD.

Well I do.

Some prog band I downloaded to check out on a whim, this could rule or suck, someone wanna flip a coin?

They're named after a Flower Kings song so it'll probably be interesting..

edit: feels more like a poor man's Transatlantic, but worth a listen

np: Godspeed You! Black Emperor - F#A#∞

this pwns isis

very frustrating music, though, I don't know if I'd want to explore them further.. the gradual crescendos are very well done, but the way that they don't build to anything more makes it a little anti-climactic.. like they strongly build to the conclusion of one section, and then move on to the next as if it hadn't happened. it's great to lie back and concentrate on, but honestly I'll take black metal and mike oldfield-style progressive suites over this post-rock style.

NP
Triumph "Progressions of Power"

up next
Triumph "Thunder Seven"

Triumph proves how better canadian AOR is compared to its US version.. :D

Rush - Permanent Waves

First album to be released in the 80's? What a wonderful and yet gloriously useless bit of trivia. 8)
