i just bought there album the human equation...

i AM BLOWN AWAY.

any one else out there heard this?
Its almost like a prog metal musical. There is some where in the neighborhood of 13 singers playign different characters telling a story about a guy in a coma looking into his memories.

among the singers are James Labrie from Dream theater and Devin Townsend.

Any thoughts?

Yeah difinitly a great album. I am not a fan of chick singers, but Arjen pulled it off (very well I might add). Definitly a must have. Check out past projects such as star one and other Areyon albums.

Star One Project and Into the Electric Castle are his best stuff, imo.

I don't know, I definitely dig on the Universal Migrator albums (now packaged as one). Honestly, I think every Ayreon album is excellent. Actual Fantasy and The Final Experiment are more prog rock, Into The Electric Castle is a mix of prog rock/metal, The Dream Sequencer and Flight Of The Migrator should have been packaged as one double CD originally. It flows so good with the mellow, electronica-tinged Dream Sequencer and then the more power metal/proggy Flight Of The Migrator! So good!!

Anyway, you should check out his new project with the gay name:

STREAM OF PASSION

That's going to be an awesome album!! And the Star One album is amazing, too. I love "Set Your Controls!!" It sounds like something Boston would have done back in the day!! =)
