The Conan movies had the best movie music I've heard in a long time. I bought them both a few weeks back. Hmm, I usually wouldn't care much about movie soundtracks but damn this one could very well be my first... maybe when I next time order cd's.
Conan knows the best things in life :)!

The Band Domine has a great tribute style song to that movie off the newest album. I think it is called the Riders Of Tulsa Doom. At least that is the part of the chorus I remember. Has the main theme from the score done using the guitars and keys. I thnik it is a really cool song!
Anyone else heard it!

That's definitely one of the best soundtracks I've heard, along with Lord of the Rings, Amadeus and Braveheart.
Favorites:
1. The Orgy (best)
2. Civilization
3. Prologue/Anvil of Crom
4. Riders of Doom

Reminds be a lot of Bal-Sagoth - Starfire Burning upon the Ice-veiled Throne of Ultima Thule, especially the song And Lo, when the imperium Marches against Gul-Kothoth, then Dark Sorceries shall Enshroud the Citatel of the Obsidian Crown, though I think that album is largely inspired of the Conan soundtrack.
