The Anathema from which country?

If you mean Anethema UK, the doom metal band, then I quite enjoy some of their work, although I prefer my doom to kick more ass a la Candlemass.

I just know of the UK doom metal band turned Radiohead sounding group. They were good, if you like the MDB, Paradise Lost style of doom.

The only record I really know well of theirs is Eternity, which is kinda middle period. After they were gothic doom, and before they were radiohead-ish. It's a really good album, which takes a while to get into, but with perserverance a lot of the melodies become really distinctive and emotional. A bit too much filler though.
