Do someone here has or know about this album:

Maeve of Connacht (band) - Imaginary Tales (album) ????
(It's "classified" Melodic Metal or something like that...I don't really see or understand the difference between all those kind of metal anyway. I'm not an expert that much, !)

Well, it's because I can't find it here and can't buy it from the Net either (no credit card), so at least, if somebody knows about the band, you can tell me HOW sounds the whole album) There are not much MP3's available...

It sounded more prog. to me.I remember not liking it much.I believe it was when i was checking that other band Book Of Reflections and both didn't impressed me much.
If you are looking for a good melodic band i recommend you checking out Altaria with the Divinity album.Every song is melodic and catchy mid-tempo rock/metal.Very good stuff, especially for a beginner (no offence).
Other melodic bands i can think of are Barilari, Axxis, Evidence One and Pretty Maids.

I don't know any of these bands...
Which is the difference between "melodic" and "power" ?????
And what is "neoclassical" metal (if you can explain that to me...) ?
"Skylark", for example ????

Neoclassical is when the guitar (and keyboards) are constantly noodling away like a classical composition. Its easy to recognise once you've heard an example. The most famous proponent of it is probably Yngwie "bawbag" Malmsteen. Some of Timo Tolkki's solos border on neoclassical.

Melodic Metal is a broad term that really covers more than one particular genre. It is usually used to describe the more excessivley melodic Power Metal bands such as Stratovarius, since all Power Metal is usually slightly melodic at least.

I'm not the biggest expert.I think the names itself are defining the genre.
Melodic metal has a lots of melodic lines which are catchy and easy to follow.Neoclassical is just what the name implies.Metal music which is heavily influenced by classical music.
Thats all i can tell you.I'm not fully acquainted with metal terminology.

Edit: Em yeah, Radagast explained it better.
