Crionics - Human Error

Nice mix of death and black from Poland. Read Alex's review.

Gorefest - False

Very good death metal from my home country (1992). Saw them lots of time on stage. Excellent drumming by Ed Warby (also drummed on some Ayreon CD's) and very good songwriting. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

Here's a link to an MP3 I just converted:

Don't turn me over to the RIAA, ok?

Huh.. isn't there another band with meaningless three word titles for all of their albums?
However, Revenge seems to be a mix of Black and Grindcore. For lunatic fringe only.

I saw them live 2 years ago. People were waving clips of bullets in the air.

Crimson Glory - Transcendence

Maybe the best power metal CD I've ever heard, although I must admit I haven't heard that many.

Time to get this one (classic section?) reviewed on this site!

Arch Enemy - Wages of Sin

Nice combo of heavy metal, thrash and death.
Don't you just wonder how the female vocalist would sound if she would not be growling?

Hey, Gast, reading your signature

"The true essence of black metal is in showing images and unplayed melodies.
Raw production is the root of grim atmospheres and multiple interpretations.
Fav Albvm: Algaion - Oimai Algeiou"

I can't help imagining your favorite black metal band on stage of which the singer/screamer solemnly swears to the public that the band won't play a tune while showing the audience pictures of his run-over cat.
