Incantation is a band I only listen to every few years, but I am giving them more of a chance these days as for quite a few other bands which I have not listened to thoroughly for long durations of time. I know they are exceptionally dark and very heavy going. I find that to be a positive attribute for death metal. Let the Mayhem begin.

Mortal Throne and Onward to Golgotha are some of the best death metal albums ever done. Check them out if you havent.

I certainly have. But I sold my collection quite a few years ago though I will reacquire them in the coming months. Thanks for the recommendation!

The Incantation recording was quite a reinvigorating experience.

An extraordinary release and one which is such an unlikely musical event to be repeated any time in the immediate or foreseeable future. That is, at least, by any other artist with this level of musical competency which would be indeed an exceedingly rare occasion to occur so readily. An uncanny musical creation, to be sure.

Let's end the night on a triumphant note. And why not? Excessive sorrows, sullen hearts, never did the world any lasting good. A preserving spirit must understand the difference. A time for sorrow and a time for joy to be both kept in check.
