A truly experiential recording depicting quite accurately the philosophical manifestations of the modern Man and his dissonance of spirit. This recording has become a modern classic for me personally and I think if they can continue this degree of artistic creativity, then, they would please me very immensely.

I would doubt it though since this degree of artistic ingenuity requires complete detachment from many worldly matters and the vast majority people including these folks need a family and a regular income and this sort of music does not make you two shillings, regardless of what the puritans tell you. Nevertheless, an absolute triumph of a recording, and not the least less valuable because the vast majority of people do not have an ear for them.

Most definitely. Quite a large feet to achieve but Greg Chandler is a very competent composer indeed alongside with his other skills.

A return to sun-kissed mountain tops and bright early morning dawns. A return to innate naturalism and the innocence of a positive science.

The impact that this album has had on me is immeasurable. The degree to which this recording is spell-binding in its masterfulness of harmony, scale, rhythm, pulse and vitality is exemplary and second to none. Without rivals and never one needed for this class of fineness and inventiveness.

Not listened to Winds in years, possibly decades! Will have to give that a retry.

Also I'm not particularly in love with the new Marduk or Taake albums, although I'm not ready to call them disappointing just yet. More time needed.

Ridiculous, but also quite possibly better than the last Immortal album, so who's laughing?

Viscerally and extraordinarily spiritual endowed with the highest possible melody standards that only a man such as Vindsval is able to conceive. This recording is an ecstatic unifying with the gods and yes I believe when he composed this album he felt what it means to be immortalized. I believe he touched eternity with this recording. What a man, what a recording.
