Still big fans of both to this day. Both bands are/were (in the case of ) Septic flesh remarkable song writers. I'm not sure what happened to Septic they got rid of all of the beautiful melodies, My Dying Bride-keyboards/leads, and just make chug riffs and symphonic parts now.

I'd say Christos studied orchestration and the symphony took over where "riffage" became secondary and those marvelous leads and solos all too sadly, quietly, and gradually, left.
