How about some 1st wave BM ? :>

Venom
Bathory
Mercyful Fate
Sodom
Destruction
Sabbat
Vulcano

Beherit

Amen to that! Although Beherit can't really be considered 1st wave.
And you left out Hellhammer and Celtic Frost! Poser alert!

Agathodaiman, but I would download some stuff from them first, they are kind of generic, but still good.

The Industrial side of black metal is a rich vein to mine as well. Consider...

Aborym - With No Human Intervention/Fire Walk With Us
The Axis of Perdition - Physical Illuminations In The Sewer... etc/Deleted Scenes from the Transition Hospital (can't comment on their debut yet...)
Blut Aus Nord - The Work Which Transforms God.
Anaal Nathrakh - Domine Non Es Dignus (much better then their debut, that one was a pisswah)

Black/Industrial is a true evolution of the genre. There'll be more great stuff emerging from there in the next few years then there will be from seven or eight hundred darkthrone clone bands.

If industrial/black is your thing then try all of these bands and add Troll to the list. Good "cybernetic" Black Metal featuring Hellhammer on drums.

well im fairly new to black metal myself, so ill just list the small group of bands that i have found to my liking:

-Mayhem (a must)
-Darkthrone (also a must)
-Burzum (the final of the essential bands in my opinion)
-Catamenia (melodic black metal, interesting stuff)
-Dimmu Borgir is ok too, but not great
-Cradle of Filth is ok if you can ignore Dani's voice

im sure there are plenty of other good ones but i am yet to discover them....

PS
I didn't bother to mention Noenum as you said you already got their EP

EDIT:
Also if you consider Kovenant to be black metal, which i dont really, i rather like them, very electronic and melodic, lots of industrial influence

Fun to see what I moved with my Noenum review :D A list that contains Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth and Noenum... What great fun

And fun to see that I even recognize some bands by now, even though Cradle and Dimmu are very well known in the metal scene by now. And I was just wondering, am I the only one that does actually dig Dani's voice? I think it adds a unique personality to the band that makes them stand out among the rest. And of course the musical part as well is unique in its own way but it would not be the same without Dani.

I like Dani's style. He's pretty versatile vocalist, pulling off a number of different styles all in one song. He really does, as you say, add a certain personality to the band. Cradle Of Filth wouldn't be Cradle Of Filth without Dani.

weak poduction, the good guitar tone is gone, vocals are real shaky and rather uninspired songs , by comparison to older stuff.

Some of the older CoF can be fun at times, although I never listen to it anymore. Newer CoF is an aweful excuse for music.

Oh how I just love www.bugmenot.com. I didn't have to create a login, thank god (or someone with high authority).

The music was OK, nothing fancy.

No one mentioned Abigor and Limbonic Art when you asked for symphonic black metal.

Check those both out.

Abigor has a unique sound that is similar to Emperor with thousands of riffs coming at your ears in all different directions, but it's even more complex.

Limbonic Art has a very otherworldly, spacey feel that makes it for perfect listening in certain moods when you don't feel like having your ears bludgeoned to death.

Graveworm is excellent as well.

I have heard (N)Utopia a lot and I really like it, but is it BM?
