Jag Panzer - Thane To The Throne
Steel Prophet - Messiah

The singer for Steel Prophet sounds identicle to Tobias Sammet, I honestly thought it was him and the music side of it is better than Edguy (IMO) so its pretty awesome.

So did you like Jag Panzer?

Im listening to it right now for the first time and its almost over, it was really good. I have to give it more spins though because it all sorta felt like one huge song, it lacks abit of variety. But it was definately worth 9.99 and the singing is great. So far the standout tracks are: Thane of Cawdor, King At A Price, The Downward Fall, and Tragedy of Macbeth. The rest is good too, but needs more time to sink in.

He sounds much better and grittier than Sammet though, and not a gram of happyness that Sammet is overflowing with.

I agree and I actually like the Steel Prophet singer alot more because of it. I love high pitch vocals, but I love it even more if its got some force or raspy-ishness to it. Examples: Jon Oliva, David Defeis, Dio.

Yeah, Tobias did indeed sing his ass off in that song and it shows, to bad it isnt as such in Edguy, I do like Edguy, but I really only like about 3-5 songs per album, the rest doesnt do much for me. And oddly enough, the best part of The Final Sacrifice was David Defeis's singing.

I was shocked to learn most of the singing on Final Sacrifice was done by Sammett. I actually prefer the parts he does to those done by DeFeis (except for the 'Reeaoows', of course :D ).

Iron Maiden - Piece Of Mind

Call me a poser but it's the first Maiden album I've got, anyway judging by this, there's more to come.
