Goat just has to mention grunge and he knows he'll get me. Heard All the Bad Men and now I have to hear the whole album.

I listened! We all know that this stuff is more your thing, but I liked a good bit of it besides the aforementioned All the Bad Men. Dug the grunge sort of vocal melody in Sisters of the Dawn, and Angels and Demons is good from start to finish. Also agreed on your analysis of Pull the String: nearly hit the next track button midway until the flute solo and heavy finish. Surely this will inspire a flautist like Reba to bust out a solo on the next Code Orange record!? Do agree that the album could be called overly long, but that is prog, so I expect it. I didn't like every track, something like Season of the Swarm takes forever to get to the cool synth/heavy riff outro and don't think it holds up overall. Like always with prog, when the heavier instrumental break goes soft for the standard prog vocals I start looking at the time left in the song. But a 70/100 is a damn good score from me for this genre and I really appreciate the influences they are pulling in here.
